Trevarius "Tre" Ravon Bowman is being remembered as someone who was always willing to help others but didn't like the spotlight. Bowman, 25, from Spartanburg, died May 19, 2020, at Bagram Air Force Base, Afghanistan, from a non-combat-related incident. The incident is under investigation, according to Army officials. "Tre was a great example for other cadets," said retired Lt. Col. Clarence Bowser. "He was a joy to be around and was willing to help and teach what he could and had a great degree of knowledge...
